The NDP-80BSS is Yamada's 3" air-operated double-diaphragm pump in stainless steel, with a 215 GPM maximum. It passes solids to 13/32" (10 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
316 stainless construction is specified where corrosion resistance and cleanability both matter — dairy, brewing, fine chemicals and pharmaceutical transfer. Santoprene diaphragms and balls offer broad chemical compatibility with a long flex life, and are usually the best value where the duty cycle is heavy. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
The pump self-primes, handles a degree of entrained air, and holds pressure when stalled, which makes it forgiving on transfer duty that starts and stops.
