Yamada builds the NDP-50BVW as a 2" double-diaphragm pump in kynar pvdf, capable of 164 GPM. It passes solids to 5/16" (8 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
The Kynar PVDF wetted path is specified for concentrated sulfuric, hydrochloric and nitric service, and for hot chemicals beyond what polypropylene tolerates. Yamada's Ultimate two-piece diaphragm pairs a PTFE wetted face with an elastomer backer, giving PTFE chemical resistance with markedly longer flex life than solid PTFE. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
It self-primes, tolerates running dry, and stalls harmlessly against a closed valve, so it suits batching and intermittent transfer where a centrifugal pump would be a poor fit.
