The NDP-50BVE covers 2" transfer duty as an air-operated double-diaphragm pump in kynar pvdf, rated to 164 GPM. It passes solids to 5/16" (8 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
PVDF construction handles the aggressive oxidising chemistry — chlorine, bromine, strong mineral acids — where polypropylene reaches its limit. EPDM diaphragms and balls handle acids, caustics, ketones and alcohols well — but not petroleum products, which swell the elastomer. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
The pump self-primes, handles a degree of entrained air, and holds pressure when stalled, which makes it forgiving on transfer duty that starts and stops.
