The NDP-50BFW covers 2" transfer duty as an air-operated double-diaphragm pump in cast iron, rated to 164 GPM. It passes solids to 5/16" (8 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
Cast iron construction gives the weight and stiffness that heavy transfer work wants, and stands up to abrasive and particulate-laden fluids that wear lighter housings. Yamada's Ultimate two-piece diaphragm pairs a PTFE wetted face with an elastomer backer, giving PTFE chemical resistance with markedly longer flex life than solid PTFE. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
It self-primes, tolerates running dry, and stalls harmlessly against a closed valve, so it suits batching and intermittent transfer where a centrifugal pump would be a poor fit.
