The Yamada NDP-500BSE-NPT is a 2" air-operated double-diaphragm pump in stainless steel, rated to 226 GPM. It passes solids to 5/16" (8 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
A 316 stainless wetted path resists chlorides, organic acids and most process chemicals, and is the standard specification wherever wash-down or product purity matters. EPDM diaphragms and balls handle acids, caustics, ketones and alcohols well — but not petroleum products, which swell the elastomer. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
Supplied with NPT threaded connections. Being air-driven, it needs no motor starter or electrical classification at the pump, self-primes from dry, and can be dead-headed and left stalled under pressure.
