Yamada builds the NDP-40BST-NPT as a 1-1/2" double-diaphragm pump in stainless steel, capable of 107 GPM. It passes solids to 9/32" (7 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
316 stainless construction is specified where corrosion resistance and cleanability both matter — dairy, brewing, fine chemicals and pharmaceutical transfer. PTFE diaphragms and balls give near-universal chemical resistance, covering solvents, concentrated acids and oxidizers that destroy rubber elastomers, at the cost of a slightly lower displacement per stroke. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
Supplied with NPT threaded connections. Being air-driven, it needs no motor starter or electrical classification at the pump, self-primes from dry, and can be dead-headed and left stalled under pressure.
