Yamada's NDP-40BSE-NPT is a 1-1/2" AODD pump in stainless steel, moving up to 107 GPM. It passes solids to 9/32" (7 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
316 stainless wetted parts take the aggressive chemicals and elevated-temperature service that aluminum cannot, and clean up for food, beverage and pharmaceutical work. EPDM diaphragms and balls handle acids, caustics, ketones and alcohols well — but not petroleum products, which swell the elastomer. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
Supplied with NPT threaded connections. It self-primes, tolerates running dry, and stalls harmlessly against a closed valve, so it suits batching and intermittent transfer where a centrifugal pump would be a poor fit.
