This NDP-32BAT is a 1-1/2" in / 1-1/4" out NDP-32 air-operated diaphragm pump in aluminum, rated to 50.2 GPM. It passes solids to 1/8" (3 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
Aluminium construction handles solvents, lubricating oils and hydrocarbon-based fluids well, and takes mechanical abuse better than a plastic body in a busy plant. PTFE diaphragms and balls give near-universal chemical resistance, covering solvents, concentrated acids and oxidizers that destroy rubber elastomers, at the cost of a slightly lower displacement per stroke. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
Being air-driven, it needs no motor starter or electrical classification at the pump, self-primes from dry, and can be dead-headed and left stalled under pressure.
