Yamada builds the NDP-25BVE-PN as a 1" double-diaphragm pump in kynar pvdf, capable of 46.2 GPM. It passes solids to 1/8" (3 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
PVDF construction handles the aggressive oxidising chemistry — chlorine, bromine, strong mineral acids — where polypropylene reaches its limit. EPDM diaphragms and balls handle acids, caustics, ketones and alcohols well — but not petroleum products, which swell the elastomer. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
Being air-driven, it needs no motor starter or electrical classification at the pump, self-primes from dry, and can be dead-headed and left stalled under pressure.
