Yamada builds the NDP-25BPV-FLANGE as a 1" double-diaphragm pump in polypropylene, capable of 46.2 GPM. It passes solids to 1/8" (3 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
The glass-filled polypropylene wetted path resists most acids, caustics and salt solutions, which is why plastic-bodied units dominate plating lines, water treatment and chemical dosing. Viton diaphragms and balls are chosen for aggressive chemicals and hot fluids — aromatic solvents, chlorinated hydrocarbons and concentrated acids. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
Fitted with flanged manifolds rather than threaded connections. Being air-driven, it needs no motor starter or electrical classification at the pump, self-primes from dry, and can be dead-headed and left stalled under pressure.
