This NDP-25BPE-PP-FLANGE is a 1" NDP-25 air-operated diaphragm pump in polypropylene, rated to 46.2 GPM. It passes solids to 1/8" (3 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
Polypropylene construction gives broad resistance to inorganic acids and caustics at a lower cost than fluoropolymer, and it stays inert in the salt and chlorine service that corrodes metal pumps. EPDM diaphragms and balls handle acids, caustics, ketones and alcohols well — but not petroleum products, which swell the elastomer. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
The non-metallic center body and glass-filled polypropylene air motor cut weight and remove a corrosion path in wet or chemically aggressive areas. Fitted with flanged manifolds rather than threaded connections. The pump self-primes, handles a degree of entrained air, and holds pressure when stalled, which makes it forgiving on transfer duty that starts and stops.
