The NDP-25BFV is Yamada's 1" air-operated double-diaphragm pump in cast iron, with a 46.2 GPM maximum. It passes solids to 1/8" (3 mm) and handles fluid to 248°F (120°C).
Cast iron construction gives the weight and stiffness that heavy transfer work wants, and stands up to abrasive and particulate-laden fluids that wear lighter housings. Viton diaphragms and balls are chosen for aggressive chemicals and hot fluids — aromatic solvents, chlorinated hydrocarbons and concentrated acids. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
The pump self-primes, handles a degree of entrained air, and holds pressure when stalled, which makes it forgiving on transfer duty that starts and stops.
