Yamada's NDP-25BFN is a 1" AODD pump in cast iron, moving up to 46.2 GPM. It passes solids to 1/8" (3 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
Cast iron construction gives the weight and stiffness that heavy transfer work wants, and stands up to abrasive and particulate-laden fluids that wear lighter housings. Buna-N diaphragms and balls suit petroleum oils, diesel, hydraulic fluid and greases, but should be kept away from ketones and strong oxidizers. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
The pump self-primes, handles a degree of entrained air, and holds pressure when stalled, which makes it forgiving on transfer duty that starts and stops.
