The Yamada NDP-25BFH is a 1" air-operated double-diaphragm pump in cast iron, rated to 46.2 GPM. It passes solids to 1/8" (3 mm) and handles fluid to 248°F (120°C).
A cast iron wetted path suits mining, foundry and heavy-process service where the pump takes physical punishment and the fluid is not corrosive. Hytrel diaphragms and balls carry the highest temperature rating in the range and resist abrasion well, which suits hot oils and particulate-bearing fluids. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
It self-primes, tolerates running dry, and stalls harmlessly against a closed valve, so it suits batching and intermittent transfer where a centrifugal pump would be a poor fit.
