This NDP-25BFE is a 1" NDP-25 air-operated diaphragm pump in cast iron, rated to 46.2 GPM. It passes solids to 1/8" (3 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
Cast iron construction gives the weight and stiffness that heavy transfer work wants, and stands up to abrasive and particulate-laden fluids that wear lighter housings. EPDM diaphragms and balls handle acids, caustics, ketones and alcohols well — but not petroleum products, which swell the elastomer. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
Being air-driven, it needs no motor starter or electrical classification at the pump, self-primes from dry, and can be dead-headed and left stalled under pressure.
