Yamada builds the NDP-20BPV-FLANGE as a 3/4" double-diaphragm pump in polypropylene, capable of 31.7 GPM. It passes solids to 1/16" (2.0 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
A glass-filled polypropylene wetted path handles dilute acids, alkalis and brines without the galvanic issues a metal body brings, making it the usual pick for chemical transfer and wastewater duty. Viton diaphragms and balls are chosen for aggressive chemicals and hot fluids — aromatic solvents, chlorinated hydrocarbons and concentrated acids. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
Fitted with flanged manifolds rather than threaded connections. It self-primes, tolerates running dry, and stalls harmlessly against a closed valve, so it suits batching and intermittent transfer where a centrifugal pump would be a poor fit.
