The Yamada NDP-20BPH-PP is a 3/4" air-operated double-diaphragm pump in polypropylene, rated to 31.7 GPM. It passes solids to 1/16" (2.0 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
The glass-filled polypropylene wetted path resists most acids, caustics and salt solutions, which is why plastic-bodied units dominate plating lines, water treatment and chemical dosing. Hytrel diaphragms and balls carry the highest temperature rating in the range and resist abrasion well, which suits hot oils and particulate-bearing fluids. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
The non-metallic center body and glass-filled polypropylene air motor cut weight and remove a corrosion path in wet or chemically aggressive areas. It self-primes, tolerates running dry, and stalls harmlessly against a closed valve, so it suits batching and intermittent transfer where a centrifugal pump would be a poor fit.
