This NDP-20BAW is a 3/4" NDP-20 air-operated diaphragm pump in aluminum, rated to 31.7 GPM. It passes solids to 1/16" (2.0 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
Aluminium construction handles solvents, lubricating oils and hydrocarbon-based fluids well, and takes mechanical abuse better than a plastic body in a busy plant. Yamada's Ultimate two-piece diaphragm pairs a PTFE wetted face with an elastomer backer, giving PTFE chemical resistance with markedly longer flex life than solid PTFE. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
The pump self-primes, handles a degree of entrained air, and holds pressure when stalled, which makes it forgiving on transfer duty that starts and stops.
