The Yamada NDP-15FVW is a 1/2" air-operated double-diaphragm pump in kynar pvdf, rated to 13.5 GPM. It passes solids to 1/32" (1 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
The Kynar PVDF wetted path is specified for concentrated sulfuric, hydrochloric and nitric service, and for hot chemicals beyond what polypropylene tolerates. Yamada's Ultimate two-piece diaphragm pairs a PTFE wetted face with an elastomer backer, giving PTFE chemical resistance with markedly longer flex life than solid PTFE. Flat check valves are the right choice where the pump has to lift liquid rather than being fed by gravity.
Being air-driven, it needs no motor starter or electrical classification at the pump, self-primes from dry, and can be dead-headed and left stalled under pressure.
