The DP-15FPN covers 1/2" transfer duty as an air-operated double-diaphragm pump in polypropylene, rated to 7.4 GPM. It passes solids to 1/32" (1 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
A glass-filled polypropylene wetted path handles dilute acids, alkalis and brines without the galvanic issues a metal body brings, making it the usual pick for chemical transfer and wastewater duty. Buna-N diaphragms and balls suit petroleum oils, diesel, hydraulic fluid and greases, but should be kept away from ketones and strong oxidizers. Flat check valves are the right choice where the pump has to lift liquid rather than being fed by gravity.
The pump self-primes, handles a degree of entrained air, and holds pressure when stalled, which makes it forgiving on transfer duty that starts and stops.
