The DP-15BPT is Yamada's 1/2" air-operated double-diaphragm pump in polypropylene, with a 7.4 GPM maximum. It passes solids to 1/32" (1 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
Polypropylene construction gives broad resistance to inorganic acids and caustics at a lower cost than fluoropolymer, and it stays inert in the salt and chlorine service that corrodes metal pumps. PTFE diaphragms and balls give near-universal chemical resistance, covering solvents, concentrated acids and oxidizers that destroy rubber elastomers, at the cost of a slightly lower displacement per stroke. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
It runs on plant air with no electrical supply at the pump, self-primes, and will sit stalled against a closed discharge without damage — useful on intermittent or dead-headed duty.
