This DP-10BAW is a 3/8" DP-10 air-operated diaphragm pump in aluminum, rated to 6 GPM. It passes solids to 1/32" (1 mm) and handles fluid to 212°F (100°C).
Aluminium construction handles solvents, lubricating oils and hydrocarbon-based fluids well, and takes mechanical abuse better than a plastic body in a busy plant. Yamada's Ultimate two-piece diaphragm pairs a PTFE wetted face with an elastomer backer, giving PTFE chemical resistance with markedly longer flex life than solid PTFE. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
Being air-driven, it needs no motor starter or electrical classification at the pump, self-primes from dry, and can be dead-headed and left stalled under pressure.
