The DP-10BAN is Yamada's 3/8" air-operated double-diaphragm pump in aluminum, with a 6 GPM maximum. It passes solids to 1/32" (1 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
An aluminum wetted path is the workhorse choice for petroleum products, inks, adhesives and machine coolant, giving metal durability without the cost of 316. Buna-N diaphragms and balls suit petroleum oils, diesel, hydraulic fluid and greases, but should be kept away from ketones and strong oxidizers. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
It self-primes, tolerates running dry, and stalls harmlessly against a closed valve, so it suits batching and intermittent transfer where a centrifugal pump would be a poor fit.
