The AD-50SH is a Yamada pulsation dampener with a 2" connection.
Double-diaphragm pumps deliver in pulses by design. A dampener smooths that output, which protects downstream instruments, steadies metering and filling accuracy, and takes the hammer out of rigid pipework.
Size the dampener to the pump and mount it as close to the discharge port as the pipework allows; effectiveness drops off with distance.
