The Hayward 1S5HX0008 is an S Series vertical seal-less immersible pump in CPVC — 1 HP, three phase — for continuous-duty corrosive service in industrial tanks and sumps.
No mechanical shaft seal means nothing to leak or rebuild in the liquid path — the practical advantage of the S Series on acids and aggressive chemicals. CPVC pump head (Cell Class 23447 per ASTM D1784), FPM elastomers, and a 208-230/460 V three-phase TEFC motor.
