The Hayward 1S8HX0008 is an S Series vertical seal-less immersible pump in CPVC — 1-1/2 HP, three phase — a heavy-duty chemical pump for continuous tank and sump service.
The seal-less design removes the usual failure point on corrosive duty: there is no mechanical shaft seal to leak or replace. CPVC pump head (Cell Class 23447 per ASTM D1784) with FPM elastomers, 208-230/460 V three-phase TEFC motor, 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge, at roughly 45 lb.
