The Hayward 1DD1GX008 is a D Series vertical seal-less immersible pump in CPVC — 1/8 HP, single phase, with Hayward's improved impeller — a compact pump for corrosive liquids in small tanks and sumps.
D Series pumps run with no shaft seals at all, plus a PTFE fume barrier that keeps corrosive vapor away from the motor — the two details that make them last on chemical duty. CPVC construction (Cell Class 23447 per ASTM D1784) with FPM elastomers, on a 115/230 V single-phase TEFC motor. The DD designation is the improved-impeller revision of the base D1 pump.
