The ARO PD05R-AAS-STT-B is a 1/2" air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump from ARO's compact 1/2" metallic series — self-priming, run-dry capable, and rated to about 12 GPM on compressed air up to 100 psi.
This build pairs Aluminum fluid caps and manifold with 316 Stainless Steel seats, PTFE check balls and PTFE / Santoprene diaphragms. The air motor uses a polypropylene center section. PTFE gives the broadest chemical compatibility in the line — the build to reach for with corrosive acids, caustics and solvents that attack rubber elastomers. Bolted construction keeps the fluid path leak-tight, and ARO's patented unbalanced air valve is designed to resist stalling and ice-up.
