The ARO 66605J-388 is a 1/2" air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump from ARO's Classic-style 1/2" non-metallic compact series — self-priming, run-dry capable, and rated to about 13 GPM on compressed air up to 100 psi.
This build runs an all-polypropylene wetted path — fluid caps, manifold and seats — with Polyurethane diaphragms and Polyurethane check balls. Polyurethane is prized for abrasion resistance, making this build well suited to abrasive slurries and particulate-laden fluids. Bolted construction keeps the fluid path leak-tight, and ARO's patented unbalanced air valve is designed to resist stalling and ice-up.
