The ARO 666053-3EB is a 1/2" air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump from ARO's compact 1/2" non-metallic series — self-priming, run-dry capable, and rated to about 13 GPM running on plant air up to 100 psi.
This build pairs an all-polypropylene wetted path — fluid caps, manifold and seats — with Santoprene diaphragms and Santoprene check balls. That combination is a practical, value-oriented choice for water-based and mildly aggressive fluids, giving good general chemical compatibility and flexible-elastomer service life without the cost of PTFE. Bolted construction keeps the fluid path leak-tight, and ARO's unbalanced air valve is designed to resist stalling.
It is a sensible fit for general transfer duty in water treatment, wastewater, and industrial maintenance — anywhere a dependable 1/2" AODD running on shop air does the job.
