The NDP-5FPT-Z covers 1/4" transfer duty as an air-operated double-diaphragm pump in polypropylene, rated to 3.4 GPM. It handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
Polypropylene construction gives broad resistance to inorganic acids and caustics at a lower cost than fluoropolymer, and it stays inert in the salt and chlorine service that corrodes metal pumps. PTFE diaphragms and balls give near-universal chemical resistance, covering solvents, concentrated acids and oxidizers that destroy rubber elastomers, at the cost of a slightly lower displacement per stroke. Flat check valves are the right choice where the pump has to lift liquid rather than being fed by gravity.
Both manifolds are split, so the pump can run two independent fluid paths. The pump self-primes, handles a degree of entrained air, and holds pressure when stalled, which makes it forgiving on transfer duty that starts and stops.
