Yamada's NDP-40BFN-NPT is a 1-1/2" AODD pump in cast iron, moving up to 107 GPM. It passes solids to 9/32" (7 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
The cast iron body is built for heavy industrial duty — waste oils, sludges and abrasive slurries where mass and rigidity matter more than corrosion resistance. Buna-N diaphragms and balls suit petroleum oils, diesel, hydraulic fluid and greases, but should be kept away from ketones and strong oxidizers. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
Supplied with NPT threaded connections. It self-primes, tolerates running dry, and stalls harmlessly against a closed valve, so it suits batching and intermittent transfer where a centrifugal pump would be a poor fit.
