The Yamada NDP-20BPV is a 3/4" air-operated double-diaphragm pump in polypropylene, rated to 31.7 GPM. It passes solids to 1/16" (2.0 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
Polypropylene construction gives broad resistance to inorganic acids and caustics at a lower cost than fluoropolymer, and it stays inert in the salt and chlorine service that corrodes metal pumps. Viton diaphragms and balls are chosen for aggressive chemicals and hot fluids — aromatic solvents, chlorinated hydrocarbons and concentrated acids. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
The pump self-primes, handles a degree of entrained air, and holds pressure when stalled, which makes it forgiving on transfer duty that starts and stops.
