The NDP-15FPS-D is Yamada's 1/2" air-operated double-diaphragm pump in polypropylene, with a 13.5 GPM maximum. It passes solids to 1/32" (1 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
The glass-filled polypropylene wetted path resists most acids, caustics and salt solutions, which is why plastic-bodied units dominate plating lines, water treatment and chemical dosing. Santoprene diaphragms and balls offer broad chemical compatibility with a long flex life, and are usually the best value where the duty cycle is heavy. Flat check valves are the right choice where the pump has to lift liquid rather than being fed by gravity.
Supplied as a drum-mount package with dip tube and bung adapter. It self-primes, tolerates running dry, and stalls harmlessly against a closed valve, so it suits batching and intermittent transfer where a centrifugal pump would be a poor fit.
