This NDP-15FPN is a 1/2" NDP-15 air-operated diaphragm pump in polypropylene, rated to 13.5 GPM. It passes solids to 1/32" (1 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
A glass-filled polypropylene wetted path handles dilute acids, alkalis and brines without the galvanic issues a metal body brings, making it the usual pick for chemical transfer and wastewater duty. Buna-N diaphragms and balls suit petroleum oils, diesel, hydraulic fluid and greases, but should be kept away from ketones and strong oxidizers. Flat check valves are the right choice where the pump has to lift liquid rather than being fed by gravity.
Air drive means no electrics at the pump, seal-less operation with nothing to leak at a shaft, and safe stalling against a closed discharge.
