This DP-10BAN-D is a 3/8" DP-10 air-operated diaphragm pump in aluminum, rated to 6 GPM. It passes solids to 1/32" (1 mm) and handles fluid to 180°F (82°C).
The aluminum body suits solvents, fuels, oils and paints — the general-industrial fluids where a metal pump is wanted but stainless is more than the job needs. Buna-N diaphragms and balls suit petroleum oils, diesel, hydraulic fluid and greases, but should be kept away from ketones and strong oxidizers. Ball check valves are the right choice for flooded-suction installations.
Supplied as a drum-mount package with dip tube and bung adapter. The pump self-primes, handles a degree of entrained air, and holds pressure when stalled, which makes it forgiving on transfer duty that starts and stops.
