The Hayward 1S4GX0008 is an S Series vertical seal-less immersible pump in CPVC — 1/2 HP, single phase — built for continuous-duty pumping of corrosive chemicals from tanks and sumps.
The seal-less design removes the mechanical shaft seal entirely: nothing to leak, flush, or replace, which is why these pumps live so long on aggressive liquids. The CPVC pump head (Cell Class 23447 per ASTM D1784) and FPM elastomers handle a wide range of acids and corrosives, driven by a 115/230 V TEFC motor with 1-1/4" suction and 1" discharge.
