The Ebara EPD-5AS1 is a 1/2 HP Pro Drainer submersible pump in 304 stainless steel with automatic float-switch operation — 115 V single phase — for slurry and semi-dirty water.
All major components are 304 stainless (casing, impeller, motor frame, fasteners) with a 303 stainless shaft, semi-open impeller passing 3/8" solids, and a double mechanical seal. The air-filled, continuous-duty motor has built-in overload protection with auto reset; the mechanical (non-mercury) float switch starts and stops the pump with level. Performance reaches roughly 66 GPM at 5 ft, working to about 30 ft of head; 1-1/2" NPT discharge, 20 ft cord, 26 lb. UL and CSA listed.
