PTFE diaphragms and balls give near-universal chemical resistance, covering solvents, concentrated acids and oxidizers that destroy rubber elastomers, at the cost of a slightly lower displacement per stroke. Flat check valves are the right choice where the pump has to lift liquid rather than being fed by gravity.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe multiport manifold gives additional connection points on the fluid path.
